I love to contribute time and energy to causes that are close to my heart. Whether it was trying my hand at deweeding a farm in gorgeous Spiti Valley, or conducting German language classes for refugees in Switzerland, or advocating for humane animal population management in Kosovo, I’ve tried to put my interest, passion and energy into making a difference in communities around the world. Currently, I am supporting a Danish foundation in its mission to combat desertification by promoting regenerative farming in Africa and Southeast Asia. I am helping them build an engaging sponsorship program, running surveys to validate sponsorship ideas, and raising donor awareness to drive change. Each experience has given me a little better understanding of the world, the people, the food, languages, cultures, practices, politics, traditions, challenges and has shaped me into the person I am today.
At the core of it all is my belief in the power of technology to change lives for the better, and my commitment to working with communities around the world to make EDUCATION ACCESSIBLE and HOLISTIC.
It is my vision to start a school in the Himalayan mountains where children and adults learn with compassion, both for themselves and the planet. A space where learning aligns with the indigenous wisdom of the mind, body and soul. In an inclusive space where nature, music, sports, art, literature, and technology are tools to understand the world around us. Where we learn by trying things out, building things and making mistakes and redoing them. This is a dream, and I am convinced it will come true through the collective efforts of all the like-minded people around the planet who are and will be a part of this!
